Week 5: Reflection on Web-based Communication, Collaboration, Design, Creation & Making + Blended & Online Learning

Image
Assalammualaikum dan Hello Gaiz, Today I will explain the reflection of web-based learning. There is no denying that almost the entire society today is familiar with the use of websites, especially the education sector and the employment sector.  When talking about web-based learning, it is a usage that is often used by educators and students. Because it includes online course content, web-based learning is also known as online learning or e-learning. The web allows for email discussion forums, videoconferencing and live lectures (video streaming), blogs, and vlogs.  Static pages, such as printed course materials, may also be available in web-based courses. One advantage of using the web to access course materials is that web pages may contain hyperlinks to other parts of the web, allowing access to a large amount of web-based information. Consider the Tutorial Learning Strategy, which is the fourth step. This category is centred on students.  Consider the Discussion Learning Strategy,...

WEEK 3: LEARNING THEORY

Image
Assalammualaikum dan Hello Gaiz,   Today I would like to share about my reflection on learning theory. In my opinion, theories provide a foundation for understanding how people learn as well as a means of explaining, describing, analysing, and forecasting learning.  A theory, in this sense, assists us in making more informed decisions about the design, development, and delivery of learning. There are various learning theories (behaviourism, cognitivism, constructivism, connectivism, etc.). These theorists have given extensive thought to learning and have contemplated and researched it extensively. This knowledge can be used by learning designers to think critically about learning and education.
